The Plant Research Laboratory led by Dr. Onur Oztas is recruiting a PhD student to conduct research on the molecular mechanism of plant nucleotide excision repair. This project involves a combination of molecular cloning, genome editing, high throughput sequencing and proteomics. The student will investigate how plants maintain their genome integrity under the influence of DNA-damaging environmental stress.
