Bachelor/Master thesis with focus on Sensor evaluation and pasture management, Animal Nutrition and Rangeland Management in the Tropics and Subtropics (490i)
Tasks: The thesis deals with the validation of a mobile near-infrared spectroscopy sensor, which was calibrated for the timely and accurate recording of the forage quality on the pastures. From now on, further data can be collected in the field and the feed samples can be evaluated in parallel in the laboratory.
Prerequisites: Ideally ready to start data collection immediately, combined with any business trips. Driving license is required and a general understanding of technology would be an advantage.
