The Faculty of Natural Sciences invites applications for the position of a Full Professor (W3) of Food Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry at the Institute of Food Chemistry to be filled in the winter semester 2023/24.
We are seeking an excellently qualified scientist (m/f/d) with internationally recognized research achievements and success in acquiring third-party funds in a current field of food ingredient analysis. It is expected that applicants are willing to participate in interdisciplinary cooperation with scientists of the Universities of Hohenheim and Stuttgart, especially with the food and nutritional science institutes of the faculty.
The professor will teach courses on food chemistry in the joint Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in food chemistry of the Universities of Hohenheim and Stuttgart as well as in other related degree programs.
The position offers attractive conditions for first-time full professor appointees. Prerequisites for applicants are habilitation or an equivalent research and teaching record which may have been established during a Junior or Assistant Professorship.
The advertised position is tenured. If appointed as full professor for the first time, the University of Hohenheim reserves its right to probationary employment. With equal qualifications, preference will be given to candidates with disabilities.
