The Department of plant molecular biology (DBMV) is opening a position in Molecular Plant Physiology.

Your responsibilities

The successful candidate is expected to develop an internationally recognized research program and to obtain competitive grants from external sources.

The selected candidate is expected to autonomously supervise M.Sc. and Ph.D. students and to participate in the teaching activities offered by the Department.

Your qualifications

We are looking for outstanding individuals with an excellent track record in plant molecular biology. We particularly welcome candidates with a focus on plant adaptive responses. Any plant model species will be considered.

The Department has excellent experimental facilities, including state-of-the-art plant growth facilities and access to the latest imaging, proteomics, genomics and bioinformatics platforms.
