Fieldwork: Dendrochronological measurements on oak (Quercus pyrenaica) from several experimental plots located in Valsaín (Segovia), Riaza (Segovia) and Moncayo (Zaragoza). Laboratory and laboratory work: Obtaining time series of growth. Different computer software will be used to correct, harmonise and standardise the growth time series.
Additionally, the person hired will be able to collaborate in several field and laboratory tasks related to several ongoing projects of the FORESCENT research group.
Joining an ongoing research project and collaboration with experienced researchers on the topic.
Experience, acedemic and publication record will be an asset.
MSc. in forest sciences, biology, environment or related. Experience in laboratory work. Experience in field and lab work.
Experience in dendrochronological and plant physiological studies.
Experience on statistical software (R) and driving licence
