We are looking for a creative, curious and enthusiastic candidate to join our team and contribute to our understanding of phosphate (Pi) limitation induced ER stress in Arabidopsis root tips. The project is based on our previous data (see Naumann et al. 2019, Plant Physiology 179, 460-476; Naumann et al. 2022, Current Biology) and will focus on the role of the ER resident plant P5A-type ATPase PDR2 in Pi dependent ER stress response.
The successful candidate must hold a Diploma or Master’s degree in biochemistry or biology or a closely related field and is supposed to have a solid command of English communications skills (both spoken and written). Applicants should have a strong background in one of the following fields: molecular biology, biochemistry, structural biology or cell biology. Basic knowledge in plant biochemistry would be highly appreciated.
