PhD Fully Funded in Algae Engineering in Plant pathology Department at University of Bonn in Germany: Fully funded PhD position (E13 65%) The goal of this PhD project will be different synthetic biology approaches to be established in a microalgae system. Your profile:
- MSc or equivalent degree in Biology or related fields, ideally with a documented interest in microbiology and/or plant research.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of basic biology
- Documented interest in synthetic biology
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a plus but not required
- Goal-oriented, structured and team-minded way of working

- experience in wet-lab work
Specific Requirements:
Solid wetlab experience is required. Interest to work with algae and non-conventional model systems. Ideally previous work in bioengineering but not essential.
