We are hiring a strong leader and scientist to run crucial projects under a $1.2M NSF award. The successful applicant will be in a central supervisory role within a research team, assisting and organizing high-quality research, and working with plants and insects. This position is for someone with a Ph.D., though we will consider those with other degrees (and 3+ years project management experience) as well.
The person in this position will be in charge of the smooth running of the laboratory and will be interfacing frequently with the PI and students. We care about the people on our team, and all positions involve opportunities to for career development. Previous experience in evolutionary biology, ecology, and/or animal behavior is a plus, but not required. Previous experience working with invertebrates is strongly desired.
