Postdoctoral Position in Plant Pathology at the Ohio State University: The Guo-Liang Wang lab in the Department of Plant Pathology at the Ohio State University isseeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to study the application of cell penetratingpeptides (CPPs) for plant protection.

Our lab has recently demonstrated that the new CPP MTD4significantly enhances the delivery of a defense activator protein into plant cells and can be fusedto any cargo proteins for plant protection to biotic and abiotic stresses. Successful candidatesshould have strong skills in molecular biology and plant pathology.

Previous experience inprotein biochemistry and plant genetics is also desired. The candidate is expected to be highlyindependent and able to work collaboratively in a team. Good oral and written communicationskills are essential.
