Looking for a highly motivated student interested in movement dynamics of fishes. The goal of the project is to understand relationships between seasonal movement patterns and fisheries-independent survey data for Walleyes in Lake Sharpe, South Dakota.
Interest or experience in Walleye ecology, acoustic telemetry, and population analysis are desired. The student is expected to work closely with SD Game, Fish & Parks biologists.
Qualifications: BS in fisheries science or related discipline; strong written and oral communication skills; experience with fish sampling techniques; competitive GPA. We are seeking to fill the position before August 15, 2023.
