The Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, offers the following position at the earliest opportunity li-mited to 3 years (with a possible extension by another 3 years) Externe Stellenausschreibung Reg.-Nr. 5-3543/23-H Scientific Employee (m/f/d) – in Plant Genetics. The salary will be up to Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L (100%), if the personal requirements and tasks are fulfilled.
Tasks: • Development of a work program that uses innovative approaches and methods in the field of regulation of gene activity in plant model organisms • Supervision of students’ theses and the development of an independent teaching offer for bachelor’s and master’s programs
Requirements: • Completed scientific university degree in the field of biology / biochemistry / bioinformatics / biotechno-logy • Preprints or relevant publications in internationally recognized journals • Relevant experimental experience in plant model systems is desirable • It is expected that the applicant will independently acquire third-party funds and will participate in ongoing and planned research networks, The successfull candidate will have the opportunity to work towards their habilitation.
